Remembrance & Recovery Events

A year ago on April 16, our community was ravaged by a EF3 tornado. In the aftermath of that storm, Lee County rallied together and worked as one to make sure every need was met -- from clearing debris to donating material goods to delivering meals.

On the first anniversary of the tornado, several groups are holding special events to bring everyone back together for a day of remembrance and celebration. They are:

When: 10:45am-1:15am
Where: 3110 Cameron Drive, Sanford NC
