• Have you tried Cage Fitness at Black Belt Leadership Academy? You have two more chances today -- 12:15pm and 8:15pm -- and one chance tomorrow -- 8:30pm. Go try it. Your first session is free!

• Make plans to eat dinner out on Friday. The Stevens Center is celebrating its 10th anniversary with lasanga and dancing (6-8:30pm). The cost is just $3/person, so call ahead (919-776-4048) to reserve your place.

• Calling all artists! Go learn how to paint in the style of Van Gogh with artist Iris Nazario at the Carolina Artists Colony on Friday (6:30-8:30pm). You’ll get a glass of wine, snacks, and your work of art for just $35.

• Downtown Sanford’s “Screen on the Green” spring movie series is back with a vengeance. Go see Back to the Future in Depot Park tomorrow night! The movie will start around 8pm. Make sure you bring a blanket or chairs to sit on.

• The annual Small Business Banquet featuring Jim Hunt and Bill Leslie is coming up fast (May 10, 5:30pm). Tickets are just $25 and can be purchased at the Sanford Area Chamber of Commerce.
