    When: 8:30–9am
    What: Interval training that’s perfect for all fitness levels. The cost is $49/month for 2 nights a week, or $69/month for unlimited classes. The drop in rate is $10/class. Your first class is always free.

    When: 4-4:30pm (ages 4-7) and 5-5:45pm (ages 8-12)
    What: Bring your kids to get a Zumba workout that’s fun and age appropriate. The cost is $3 per child.

    What: Learn the basics of knitting, including how to cast on, knit, purl and bind off. You’ll also get a learn-to-knit kit. This class costs $40 and is limited to 6 students.

    When: 7-11am
    What: This sale will be in the apartment above Local Joe's and will feature craft supplies, furniture, clothing, and Christmas decorations.

    When: 9am–12pm
    What: Shop for produce, breads, locally made goods, and more right in downtown Sanford.
  • Summer Sizzle Antiques Sale, Cameron NC
    When: 9am–6pm
    What: Shop for antiques and more at this day-long street fair.
  • Zumba at First Baptist Church, 202 Summit Drive, Sanford NC
    When: 9:30am

    When: 10–11am
    What: The class is just $8 for drop-ins, or you can purchase a pass. Make sure to use the back entrance.
  • 99 SASL Sabres Fish Fry Fundraiser, 1422 Owls Nest Road, Sanford NC
    When: 11am–2pm
    What: Get a fish plate with hushpuppies, cole slaw, baked beans, and cake for $7. All money will go toward the team’s travel and fees. Call Julie at 919-721-1069 to pre-order.
  • Children's Closet @ Jones Chapel UMC, Deep River Road, Sanford NC
    When: 1–2pm
    What: The Children's Closet provides children's clothing, book, toys, etc for those in need that aren't able to purchase these items. All items are gently used but have been cleaned and a ready for a good home! If you are a family in need (or know of a family in need) of children's clothing, please stop by.
  • Critter Houses and Feeders at Raven Rock, Hwy 421S, Lillington NC
    When: 2–4pm
    What: Learn to make different houses and feeders for birds, frogs, butterflies, and bees. Some supplies will be furnished but feel free to bring empty milk cartons or plastic gallon jugs, plastic drink bottles, oranges, and big pine cones. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • St. Baldricks at The Flame, 109A Carbonton Road, Sanford NC
    When: 7–10pm
    What: Teams from across Sanford will shave their heads to raise money for pediatric cancer research.
  • Salsa Competition at UnWINEd, 237 Center Grove Church Road, Moncure NC
    When: 7:30–9pm
    What: Make your special salsa and bring it to UnWINEd at 7:30pm for a friendly competition. Tasting will be from 7:30-8:30pm. The winner will get their choice of Hanover Park Courtney Red or Grove Tempranillo Sangria style wines.
