• Find out how to make your meetings more efficient (or if you need to have meetings at all) at a Practical Knowledge seminar this Thursday (9-10:15am). A Google Calendar beginner class will start immediately following. Take both classes for just $25!

• Interested in conversational Chinese? CCCC is offering a class that starts tomorrow and runs through Nov. 20 (2-3:30pm). The cost is $120. Call 919-777-7793 to register.

• First Presbyterian CDC is selling discount cards for local businesses. The cards are $10 each and will help the center purchase new cribs for the infant room. For more information or to purchase a card, contact Emily at 336-688-3480 or emilydbharris@yahoo.com.

• The Lee County Community Orchestra will begin rehearsals tomorrow at Lee Senior (6:30-9pm). Musicians are invited to join them at any time!

• Gymnastics registration for Parks & Rec happens this Wednesday through Friday (3-6pm) at 221 Commercial Court. There are classes for children from toddler ages up. Call 919-774-6445 for more information.

• CARA’s Run For Their Lives 5K/10K race is this Saturday at Kiwanis Park (7am). There will also be a rabies clinic, raffle, and dog competitions. Click this link for more details!
