It’s either been insanely hot or mushy wet the past few weeks. This poses a problem when you have little balls of energy -- like my two young sons -- who are about to tear the house down out of boredom and cabin fever.
Solution: Boomers Party & Play on Tramway Road in Sanford. Hours of operation are Mondays-Thursdays (10am-7pm), Fridays and Saturdays (10am-9pm).
If you haven’t heard or haven’t been, you’re missing out. Boomers is a gift for the parent of the always-energetic child. I don’t know about you, but my living room becomes a lava pit at least once a day. This requires all cushions and pillows to be thrown on the floor, and the only things that can be walked/bounced on are the chairs and the couch.
Well, no more. For less than $10 a child, I can take them to a wonderfully air-conditioned
bounce house. And there is no time limit.
Great bonus: A couple weeks ago, when the eggs were frying on the sidewalks, I took my two boys to
Boomers. We stayed for a couple hours, then they went to their grandmother’s for the evening. Guess what they did that night? That’s right! She took them right back to
Boomers for no extra charge!
Extras and Specials:
- Boomers offers a party room that is perfect for birthdays.
- Currently, you can get 10 individual visits for $60.
- Picnic tables are available if you want to pack a lunch.
- There's an arcade with ticket payout for prize redemption.
- Adults have their own TV lounge area.
- The staff is helpful and friendly.
- The environment is clean.
Obviously, my family was impressed. Check Boomers out for yourself and tell 'em SocialSanford sent you. Then let us know how much fun you had!
