    What: The Lee County Community Orchestra will perform Christmas standards. The Temple Teens will join them, as well as the Frozen princesses and Santa. Tickets are $10.

Wednesday

  • Sanford Jobseekers at First Baptist Church, 202 Summit Dr, Sanford NC
    When:

    What: Whether you are a jobseeker or trying to help and support job seekers. Join a group of like-minded job seekers who want to support one another during transition. Everyone is welcome. Call 919-776-6137 for more information.
  • Toddler Story Time at the Lee County Library, 107 Hawkins Ave, Sanford NC

    What: Bring toddlers (up to age 3) for story time in the auditorium. Programs last between 20 and 30 minutes and may include stories, finger plays, flannel board stories, crafts, movement, and music.

  • Public Meeting with NCDOT at St Luke UMC, 2916 Wicker St, Sanford NC

    What: Learn more about the proposed project to construct a directional crossover on U.S. 1/15/501 at Keller Andrews Road/Westover Drive. The purpose of the public meeting will be to gather input from the public on the conceptual design and their safety concerns at this intersection.
  • German Kaffeeklatsch Club Meeting at Cafe Vesuvio, 1945 S Horner Blvd, Sanford NC

    What: Take a hayride around the farm to see Christmas lights and view a light show. Photos with Santa from 6-8p (bring a camera). Tickets are $8.50 for 2 years and older, this ticket includes the hayride and your visit with Santa. Cash only.
  • Christmas Musical at Sanford Church of God, 2105 Pathway Dr, Sanford NC

    What: The church will stage a production of ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas,’ a musical about family and hope in the golden days of radio, set in 1941.
  • SASS Christmas Party at the VFW, 1500 Webb St, Sanford NC

    What: The Sanford Area Society of Shaggers (SASS) is a group of friendly, welcoming people who have shag dancing, a love of beach music, and socializing in common. DJ Chigger Woods will DJ this party.
