    What: Representatives from several areas will speak with potential candidates about available positions, as well as help with the online application process. All applications must be submitted online. Start here.

    What: Alyssa Anderson, nutritionist at Lee County Cooperative Extension, will discuss the importance of label reading and give tips for grocery shopping. Light refreshments will be served.
  • Homeschool Information Meeting at Starbucks, 2905 S Horner Blvd, Sanford NC

  • Grand Opening of Lidl, 3209 NC 87 S, Sanford NC
    What: The German grocer will host grand opening events tomorrow through Sunday, starting with the ribbon cutting. The first 100 customers will have the chance to win a $100 gift card. They’ll also give out free reusable bags while supplies last. They’ll have games, prizes, and samples all weekend.
  • AM Buzz at the Buggy Factory, 115 Chatham St, Sanford NC

    What: Start the day with breakfast and networking hosted by US Cellular.
  • Thursday Hike at Raven Rock State Park, 3009 Raven Rock Rd, Lillington NC
    What: Join park staff every week to hike 3-6 miles on trails that can be flat, hilly and include steps. Plan to stop during the hike to observe wildlife, enjoy environmental educational moments, and listen to the natural world. For ages 12 and up.     What: Learn more about Sanford MOPS at this free play date. They’ll serve ice pops and popcorn. Bring your trikes, strollers, scooters, or other ride-ons for a safe time playing with friends.

    What: Don and Kathy Burns will present “Build a Better World with Magic & Ventriloquism.” All are welcome.

    What: The Sanford Area Society of Shaggers is a group of friendly, welcoming people who have shag dancing and beach music. This is their monthly social and will feature DJ Kitty Earles.
