    What: Audition for Harnett Region Theatre’s production of Annie. Youth ages 16 and under whose last name begins with the letters I-P and any adults age 17+ are encouraged to audition.

    What: Bring toddlers (up to age 3) for story time in the auditorium. Programs last between 20 and 30 minutes and may include stories, finger plays, flannel board stories, crafts, movement, and music.

    What: Enjoy breakfast, coffee, and networking with local business professionals and the Sanford Area Chamber of Commerce.
  • Thursday Hike at Raven Rock State Park, 3009 Raven Rock Rd, Lillington NC
    When:
    9-10a
    What: Join park staff every week to hike 3-6 miles on trails that can be flat, hilly and include steps. Plan to stop during the hike to observe wildlife, enjoy environmental educational moments, and listen to the natural world. For ages 12 and up.   • Sanford Area Society of Shaggers Social at the VFW, 1500 Webb St, Sanford NC

    What: The Sanford Area Society of Shaggers is a group of friendly, welcoming people who have shag dancing, a love of beach music, and socializing in common. The social will feature DJ Kitty Earles.
  • Parker Homecoming at the Dennis Wicker Civic Center, 1801 Nash St, Sanford NC
    When:

    What: Karen Peck & New River along with The Harvesters Quartet and Ivan Parker. Tickets are $15 in advance or $17 at the door. Children’s tickets are $9 in advance or $11 at the the door. This is the first night of a two-night event.
