  • Spirit Night at Biscuitville, 2053 S. Horner Blvd, Sanford NC

    What: Have breakfast after dark in support of J. Glenn Edwards. A portion of the night’s sales will be donated to the school.
  • Spirit Night at Zaxby’s, 3220 NC 87S, Sanford NC

    What: Zaxby’s will donate a portion of the night’s sales to Lee Early College.
  • “Encounter…” at St Stephen Catholic Church, 901 N. Franklin Dr, Sanford NC

    What: “Encounter: A Conversation about Including and Respecting All People” is open to the public and will feature guests and leaders from the community. All are welcome. The church will offer free refreshments and a drawing for prizes.

  • Parkinson’s Disease Support Group at the Lee County Enrichment Center, 1615 S. Third St, Sanford NC

    What: This group is for patients and their caregivers. All are welcome. The group meets on the third Wednesday of each month.

Thursday

  • AM Buzz at the Buggy Factory, 115 Chatham St, Sanford NC

    What: This month’s morning networking event is sponsored by Morgan Stanley-Autumn Yamamura. A light breakfast is provided. There is no cost to attend, but you’ll want to bring cash to purchase tickets for door prizes.
  • Thursday Hike at Raven Rock State Park, 3009 Raven Rock Rd, Lillington NC

    What: Join park staff every week to hike 3-6 miles on trails that can be flat, hilly and include steps. Plan to stop during the hike to observe wildlife, enjoy environmental educational moments, and listen to the natural world. For ages 12 and up.   • Quilt Show at the Dennis A. Wicker Civic Center, 1801 Nash St, Sanford NC

    What: Presented by the Hearts and Hands ECA Quilters’ Guild, the quilt show will feature more than 100 quilts, as well as vendors, raffles, door prizes, handmade items, and more. Admission is $6. Children under age 12 are admitted free.

    What: The Sanford Area Society of Shaggers (SASS) will hold their monthly social. The event will feature DJ Kitty Earles.
  • Family Movie at Aberdeen Town Lake, 301 Lake Park Crossing, Aberdeen NC

    What: Aberdeen Parks & Rec will show Lego Batman. There is no cost to attend. Concessions will be available for purchase.
