  • Yoga for Beginners at Sanford Yoga Center, 126 W. Main St, Sanford NC
    When:
    6-7p
    What: Beginners yoga is for people of all shapes, sizes, fitness levels, and genders. This is a 4-week week series that will run on Mondays. The cost is $32 for all four Mondays or $10/day.
  • Fall Festival at Monarch Lee PSR, 214 McIver St, Sanford NC
    When:
    6-8p
    What: The festival will feature candy, food, games, and more. Hot dogs will be available for purchase. Donations of canned goods are welcomed.

Tuesday

  • Berry Spooktacular Halloween at Edible Arrangements, 3035 S. Horner Blvd, Sanford NC
    When:
    all day
    What: Make a purchase to get a free professional face painting or glitter tattoo. Everyone in costume will be entered into a drawing for a free dipped cone. Donate an unwrapped toy for Toys 4 Tots.
  • Trick-or-Treating at Piggly Wiggly, 2412 S. Horner Blvd, Sanford NC
    When:

    What: The Sanford store will have candy and games. You can also purchase raffle tickets for Piggly Wiggly gift cards.
  • Trunk or Treat at Grace Chapel, 2605 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Sanford NC
    When:
    6-8p
    What: The church will have food trucks, face painting, video games, and more. They’ll also have a special party for middle and high school ages.
  • Trunk or Treat at Holly Springs Baptist Church, 385 Holly Springs Church Rd, Broadway NC
    When:
    6:30-8p
    What: Everyone is invited for a trunk or treat.
  • Night of the Living Dead at Lee County High School, 1708 Nash St, Sanford NC
    When:
    9-10:30p
    What: The drama department will stage a production of the Halloween classic. Performances are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30p and on October 31 at 9p. Tickets are $8/adult and $5/student.

  • Story Time at the Lee County Library, 107 Hawkins Ave, Sanford NC
    When:

    What: Librarians Delisa and Sheneeta will host an interactive and engaging story time for toddlers. The theme is Pajama Day.

Thursday

  • Thursday Hike at Raven Rock State Park, 3009 Raven Rock Rd, Lillington NC
    When:

    What: Join park staff every week to hike 3-6 miles on trails that can be flat, hilly and include steps. Plan to stop during the hike to observe wildlife, enjoy environmental educational moments, and listen to the natural world. For ages 12 and up. Call the visitor center at 910-893-4888 x0 for additional information and meeting location.

  • Candlelight Reflections Reception & Ceremony at the Enrichment Center, 1615 S. Third St, Sanford NC

    What: This annual ceremony raises awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and celebrates the lives of those affected by this condition. Luminaries are available for purchase for $5. Light refreshments will be served. RSVP to 919-776-0501 x 2230.

  • ‘Clue’ at the Temple Theater, 120 Carthage St, Sanford NC

    What: See the iconic whodunnit musical for $27/adult or $15/student/senior citizen. The audience will get involved in solving the crime!
  • Pancake Supper with Silent Auction at Lemon Springs Baptist Church, 576 Sanders Rd, Sanford NC
    When:
    5-7p
    What: Purchase a pancake plate for $5 to benefit Operation Christmas Child. Silent auctions include homemade crafts, baked goods, and more.
