    What: “A USO performance from the Andrews Sisters is in jeopardy of cancellation when they fail to appear shortly before curtain. Determined that the show must go on, three determined stage hands – all men, by the way – squeeze themselves into costumes, grab a couple wigs, and give it their all.” Tickets are $25/adult or $14/student or senior citizen.

  • Easter Extravaganza in downtown Lillington NC

    What: Lillington Parks & Rec will offer bounce houses, train rides, face painting, Easter egg hunting, and a visit with the Easter bunny.
  • Charitable Benefit Affair at the Stevens Center, 1576 Kelly Dr, Sanford NC

    What: Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. – Epsilon Gamma Chapter of Central Carolina will host a benefit affair honoring individuals/organizations for exceptional service to the community. The keynote speaker will be Margaret Murchison, News and Public Affairs Director for WWGP 1050AM and WFJA Classic Hits and Oldies 105.5FM.     What: The church invites families for an egg hunt followed by worship. The Jonesboro Community Children’s Choir will sing at the 11a service.
  • NC Science Festival at New Hope Valley Railway, 3900 Bonsal Rd, New Hill NC

    What: The event will include free science demonstrations and kids’ activities and visitors will see some of the work required to operate and maintain a real railroad. Trains will be running throughout the day. Check the link for prices and times.
