    What: Books of all kinds, including children’s books, cook books, and scrapbooking items will be available for purchase. A portion of proceeds will benefit the CCH Auxiliary’s projects. The sale will be in the waiting room adjacent to the emergency waiting area.
  • A Christmas Carol at the Temple Theatre, 120 Carthage St, Sanford NC
    When:
    2p and 8p
    What: The theatre will stage its original adaption of Charles Dickens’ beloved story. Tickets are $25/adult and $14/child/student/senior.
  • Christmas Tree Event at Millstone Creek Orchard, 506 Parks Crossroads Church Rd, Ramseur NC
    When:
    3-9p
    What: Take a hayride to a Christmas Tree Village, see a holiday movie (6-8p), visit with Santa, and more all for $5/person. Children under 2 are admitted free.
  • Christmas Lights at Broken Plow Farm, 1851 Avents Ferry Rd, Sanford NC
    When:
    5:30-8:30p
    What: Take a hayride around the farm to see Christmas lights and view a light show. Photos with Santa from 6-8p (bring a camera). Tickets are $8.50 for 2 years and older, this ticket includes the hayride and your visit with Santa. Cash only.
  • Parent’s Night Out at Kindermusik with Real Great Music, Sanford NC

    What: Enjoy a night out while the kids “visit” the North Pole for the annual Reindeer Games. This event includes pizza, musical games, instrument play, crafts, a take-home instrument, and more for $35. You must enroll in advance.
  • Live Christmas Drive Thru at Grace Chapel Church, 2605 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Sanford NC
    When:

    What: Biblical characters come to life as the story of Christmas is told using 10 fully narrated scenes. Free hot chocolate, water, gifts for children and adults, and more.
  • Family Movie Night at Total Body Therapy & Wellness, 2 The Square, Lillington NC
    When: 7p
    What: Bring a pillow and blanket to watch The Polar Express. Tickets are $2/person or $4/family of 4. All proceeds benefit Cinderella’s Attic Lillington, a non-profit organization that gives prom dresses to girls who cannot afford to go to prom otherwise. Concessions will be available for purchase.

  • Christmas Movie and Snow Spectacular at the Sunrise Theater, 250 NW Broad St, Southern Pines NC
    When: 11a-5p
    What: The annual events features caroling, a visit from Santa, a showing of the movie ‘Elf,’ and snow and sledding. There will also be a bouncy house, face painting, hot chocolate with cookies and other family friendly activities. The cost is $10/person.

  • Sunday Christmas Parade in downtown Sanford, NC
    When:
    5:30-8p
    What: The parade will begin at the Arts Center and travel south on Steele Street, turn left onto Wicker, and then turn left onto Moore. It will end back at the Arts Center. After, there will be music in Depot Park.
