    What: “A USO performance from the Andrews Sisters is in jeopardy of cancellation when they fail to appear shortly before curtain. Determined that the show must go on, three determined stage hands – all men, by the way – squeeze themselves into costumes, grab a couple wigs, and give it their all.” Tickets are $25/adult or $14/student or senior citizen.

    What: This benefit auction fundraiser supports the Coalition for Families & the Lee County Partnership for Children. This event offers an evening of fun with a variety of activities, auctions and entertainment.

    What: Students at Lee County High School will stage a production of the iconic musical Grease. Tickets are $8/adult and $5/student.

    What: The first market of the season will open at its new location. Buy locally grown or made meat, eggs, vegetables, baked goods, strawberries, fertilizer by Larry, wool, wooden toys, soaps, and more.
  • Spring Auction at 1482 Rocky Fork Church Rd, Sanford NC
    When: 10a
    What: Dycus Auction Service will auction items including tools, household items, an antique Maytag washer, fishing supplies, and more.
  • Grease at Lee County High School, 1706 Nash St, Sanford NC
    When: 7p
    What: Students at Lee County High School will stage a production of the iconic musical Grease. Tickets are $8/adult and $5/student.
  • Social Saturday at Sanford Latin Dance, 109 S Steele St, Sanford NC
    When: 7-11:30p
    What: The event starts with salsa dancing lessons from 7p to 8p. From 8p to 11:30p, the floor will be open to dancing. Light refreshments will be provided. Feel free to bring a dish or dessert to share. Admission is $10 per adult.
