  • ‘The Nutcracker’ at the Mann Center, 507 N. Steele St, Sanford NC

    What: The Sanford School of Classical Ballet will stage its annual production of the holiday classic. Admission is $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Call 919-770-3171 for tickets.
  • Friday Night Football at Lee County High School, 1708 Nash St, Sanford NC

    What: Lee County High School will compete against Cape Fear in the second round of state playoffs. Free tee shirts will be given to the first 500 attendees. The gate opens at 6p. Tickets are $7.

    What: Chick-fil-A will interview candidates for its team. Interviews will be given immediately.
  • Annual Christmas Bazaar at Turners Chapel Church, 1344 Colon Rd, Sanford NC

    What: Shop from different vendors for handmade items, wreaths, candles, jewelry, and more. Baked goods and hot dogs will be available for purchase. The event will benefit the church’s Jamaica Mission Trip.
  • Christmas Bazaar at Spout Springs Church, 346 HM Cagle Dr, Cameron NC

    What: The church will fill its gyms with vendors and business owners of all types. Proceeds will benefit the church’s fight against human trafficking.
  • Community Appreciation Day at Cunningham & Sons Mortuary, 310 W. Courtland Dr, Sanford NC

    What: The mortuary will celebrate 25 years of service and 1st Impressions Florist will celebrate 16 years of service to the Sanford community with live music, free food, and more. The public is invited.

  • Community Thanksgiving at First Presbyterian, 203 Hawkins Ave, Sanford NC

    What: The community is invited to a Thanksgiving meal. Any monetary donations will be given to the United Way. Food donations will be divided between The Salvation Army and CUOC. Bring a non-perishable food offering to share.
